Welcome to Austin’s Maid Service. By using our cleaning services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and associated policies. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations. If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue using our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice, so please review this page periodically. Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any updates.

1. Who We Are

Austin’s Maid Service is an independent, locally owned, and operated cleaning company. All our team members are fully insured, and each has passed a comprehensive background check to ensure your peace of mind.

2. Communication

We value your feedback and encourage you to contact us with questions or concerns about our services. Your input helps us maintain high-quality standards. If you’re satisfied with our services, consider leaving a review on your preferred social platform.

3. General Policies

100% Clean Guarantee

Austin’s Maid Service is committed to delivering satisfaction with every cleaning. Our 100% Clean Guarantee ensures that any incomplete task from our cleaning checklist will be promptly addressed at no extra cost, provided it is reported within 24 hours of service completion.

Refunds and Discounts

We do not offer refunds or discounts. However, if you are dissatisfied with our service, we will return to correct the issue at no additional cost. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

Scope of Guarantee

Issues reported outside the 24-hour window or unrelated to the cleaning checklist are not covered. It is your responsibility to notify us promptly within this timeframe.

Exceptions and Limitations

We are not liable for changes or damages occurring after the cleaning is completed, such as disturbances caused by pets, children, or other factors. We recommend a walkthrough immediately after service to address any concerns.

4. Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of a weekday appointment incur a $50 fee per cleaner.
  • Same-day cancellations are charged the full cleaning amount.
  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.

Saturday Appointments

Saturday cleanings are non-refundable, and cancellations will be charged the full cleaning amount due to the resources reserved for these bookings.

Why We Charge for Cancellations

Late cancellations affect our ability to reassign staff, resulting in lost revenue and scheduling disruptions.

5. Damages and Breakage

If our team causes any damage during a cleaning, we will repair or replace the item at our expense. Please notify us immediately after service if you notice any damage. Damages caused by external factors, such as pets or post-cleaning incidents, are not covered.

6. Lockout Fee

If our team is unable to access your property due to locked doors, unrestrained animals, or being turned away, a fee equal to the full cleaning amount will apply.

7. Payment and Billing

We accept credit and debit cards only. A hold will be placed on your payment three days before your scheduled cleaning. This is not a charge; you will only be billed after the service is completed. Unpaid invoices exceeding 90 days will be sent to collections.

8. Clutter-Free Environment Policy

Please ensure a clutter-free environment for efficient cleaning. Excessive clutter may impede our ability to complete the cleaning. Additional charges may apply if extra time is needed and approved by you.

9. Safety and Heavy Lifting Restrictions

For the safety of our staff, heavy lifting, standing on furniture, and handling biohazards (e.g., pet or human fluids, rodent droppings, mold) are prohibited. We use extension tools to clean hard-to-reach areas whenever possible.

10. Security Alarm Protocol

If your property has a security alarm, please deactivate it on the day of service or provide us with instructions and codes. Our team will re-activate the alarm upon departure. Austin’s Maid Service is not responsible for alarms triggered accidentally during cleaning.

11. Pet Policy

Please secure your pets during cleaning and clean up any excrement prior to our visit. We do not clean flea-infested homes or areas containing animal waste. Our staff reserves the right to leave the property if they feel unsafe due to aggressive animals.

12. Legal Compliance

By using our services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We reserve the right to investigate complaints or violations and may report unlawful activities to authorities.

13. Intellectual Property

Austin’s Maid Service name, logo, and branding are protected by trademark law. Unauthorized use is prohibited without prior written consent.

14. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Texas law. Legal action must be initiated within one year of the cause of action.

15. Changes to Services or Terms

We reserve the right to update our services, policies, or these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services indicates agreement with any changes.
